Egypt’s Entrepreneurship Awards (EEA) announced during its fifth edition launch press conference the appointment of Rasha Khalifa Al Mubarak, Chairwoman of Music Nation, as a judging panel member for the Cultural Innovation Award, recognizing her extensive expertise in the creative economy, arts, culture, and neighbouring rights.

A Pioneer in the Creative Economy

Rasha Khalifa Al Mubarak stands among the UAE’s most prominent female entrepreneurs in the creative economy sector.

Her contributions encompass establishing and managing companies in the arts and culture, working to enhance human dialogue through music, cinema, and creativity.

She believes that art serves as a powerful force for change and builds bridges between cultures.

She serves as Chairwoman of Music City UAE, founded Naiy Production House, which specializes in film production, and is a board member at Inara, a non profit organization providing medical and psychological care to children affected by conflicts.

Building Music Nation into a Global Rights Platform

Al Mubarak founded and chairs Music Nation, the UAE’s prominent collective rights management organization, officially licensed by the Ministry of Economy to collect and distribute musical performance revenues and neighbouring rights.

Through strategic partnerships with major global organizations, including Broadcast Music Inc.

(BMI) and SoundExchange, the company has become a leading platform enabling music creators and performers to protect their rights and ensure fair compensation.

Driving Cultural Innovation and UAE Vision 2031

Under her leadership, Music Nation has become the cornerstone for building an integrated music system, empowering artists, composers, and distributors to establish sustainable professional careers.

This enhances the UAE’s position as a regional and global music industry hub, aligning with UAE Vision 2031 and the “National Strategy for Cultural and Creative Industries”, by developing the creative economy through environments that encourage artistic and cultural innovation.

Recognizing Regional Leadership at EEA

Al Mubarak’s participation exemplifies Egypt’s Entrepreneurship Awards’ commitment to selecting distinguished personalities with extensive regional experience, ensuring fair and transparent candidate evaluation.

The Egypt Entrepreneurship Awards, now in its fifth consecutive year, supports entrepreneurs across the region in various fields.
