HUAWEI has announced a significant upgrade to its revolutionary HUAWEI TruSense System, introducing the Distributed Super-Sensing Module.
This advancement redefines health and fitness management, setting a new industry benchmark following the system’s successful debut in 2024.
The upgrade extends monitoring from the wrist to the fingertip, delivering real-time, accurate, and comprehensive health insights for users worldwide.
Enhanced HUAWEI TruSense System
The upgraded HUAWEI TruSense System integrates fingertip detection with multimodal signal fusion,

marking a world-first for wearable technology.
This dual-detection approach combines data from wrist and fingertip sensors, significantly improving the accuracy and speed of vital sign monitoring. The upgrade caters to a growing global demand for proactive health management and empowers users with reliable, real-time data.
Since entering the health and fitness industry 12 years ago, HUAWEI has consistently led the global wearable market.
According to IDC, HUAWEI ranked first in worldwide shipments for wrist-worn wearables below $700 (excluding tax) and has maintained its position as the leading smartwatch brand in China for six consecutive years.
Comprehensive Health Insights
The HUAWEI TruSense System tracks over 60 health and fitness indicators across six major bodily systems: circulatory, respiratory, nervous, endocrine, reproductive, and muscular.
Emotional well-being monitoring, introduced with the HUAWEI WATCH GT 5 Series and WATCH D2, combines heart rate and autonomic nervous system data with advanced algorithms to assess users’ stress levels and overall emotional health.
The Distributed Super-Sensing Module further enhances these capabilities by using optical, electrical, acoustic, and mechanical signals.
By leveraging the vascular density and thinner skin at the fingertips, the system minimizes interference from factors such as melanin and hair, particularly for cardiovascular monitoring.
Key Innovations
Real-Time Blood Oxygen Monitoring: Detects changes instantaneously for faster and more accurate assessments.
Health Glance Feature: Provides a snapshot of over 10 vital health metrics, including Heart Rate Variability (HRV), emotional well-being, and ovarian function, in just 60 seconds.
The new module builds on last year’s success by incorporating distributed sensors across the body, overcoming spatial constraints, and enhancing the accuracy of measurements for key indicators like heart rate, blood oxygen levels, and blood pressure risk evaluation.
