Launch of the Third Edition of the “Empower Her Art Forum” at the Grand Egyptian Museum

The highly anticipated third edition of the “Empower Her Art Forum,” organized by the Art Today Foundation for Arts, will be hosted at the Grand Egyptian Museum from May 16 to 20.

This prestigious event will gather a remarkable group of female artists, ambassadors, diplomats, influential public figures, and icons from the fields of art, media, and culture. Attendees will represent Egypt, the Arab region, and various countries worldwide.

The forum is a global celebration of women’s artistic achievements, providing an international platform that underscores the transformative power of art in empowering women.

This year’s edition is held under the esteemed patronage of several Egyptian ministries, including the Ministries of Environment, Social Solidarity, Culture, Youth and Sports, Tourism and Antiquities, as well as the Egyptian Tourism Authority.

The event will offer a dynamic range of activities, including a captivating visual art exhibition featuring exceptional works, engaging panel discussions, interactive workshops, and live painting sessions. These activities aim to foster cultural exchange and promote universal values such as peace, justice, and equality through artistic expression.

Highlighting the exceptional talent of women, the forum will feature more than 200 female artists from over 35 countries. The opening ceremony will be graced by distinguished dignitaries, diplomats, and renowned artists from Egypt and abroad.

dditionally, participants will have the opportunity to engage in professional workshops and thought-provoking panel discussions addressing the vital role of art in society.

Sherine Badr, Founder and CEO of Art Today Foundation, emphasized the forum’s mission to transcend traditional art events and become a transformative platform for women’s empowerment.

She stated, “We are not only celebrating creativity; we are striving to empower female artists and offer them the recognition and visibility they deserve by showcasing their inspiring journeys.”

Badr further highlighted the diverse program, which includes lectures on the evolution of modern art and hands-on workshops led by acclaimed international female artists.

She also underscored the forum’s commitment to inclusivity, particularly in integrating people with disabilities as both creators and appreciators of art, reinforcing the belief that art is a universal language.

A significant milestone of this year’s edition will be the signing of a cooperation protocol between the Art Today Foundation and the Women’s Museum in Bonn, Germany. As part of this partnership, travel grants will be awarded to five Egyptian female visual artists, fostering global collaboration and artistic exchange.

Over the course of five days, the forum will open its doors to art enthusiasts, offering a unique opportunity to engage with its profound humanistic message.

This gathering will serve as a convergence of civilizations through art, aligning with the forum’s core mission of empowering women and amplifying their voices on regional and global scales.

The “Empower Her Art Forum 2025” enjoys the support of prominent institutions and organizations, including the Egyptian Ministries of Culture, Youth and Sports, Environment, and Social Solidarity.
