The program is designed to create shared value that benefits farmers, milk collection centers, and consumers alike.

The “Kheir Baladna” program seeks to enhance the Egyptian dairy sector by providing essential technical and logistical support to ensure product quality and boost production efficiency.

The program emphasizes empowering milk collection centers with modern resources and advanced technologies, enabling them to enhance productivity and tackle seasonal challenges, as well as fluctuations in production and quality.

Additionally, the program aims to promote community sustainability, ensuring long-term benefits for all stakeholders involved.

Since the program’s inception, Juhayna has supported 22 milk collection centers across the country, resulting in a 20% increase in the company’s reliance on these centers.

Initiatives have included the provision of advanced equipment to improve operational efficiency and ensure milk quality, alongside specialized training programs designed to equip staff at milk collection centers with the latest production techniques.

Furthermore, Juhayna conducts regular field visits to assess the performance of these centers, ensure adherence to global quality standards, and address any challenges they may face.

This program reflects Juhayna’s commitment to corporate social responsibility, aiming to enhance product quality and increase returns for farmers, thereby boosting consumer trust in local products.

The initiative also contributes to local development by supporting the dairy sector, a key pillar of the Egyptian economy.

Seif Thabet, CEO of Juhayna Food Industries, remarked: “We recognize the significance of developing the Egyptian dairy sector as an essential element of food security and the national economy.

The ‘Kheir Baladna’ program embodies our long-term commitment to achieving sustainable development, not only by fulfilling our production needs but also by positively impacting consumer health and assisting farmers in improving production quality and efficiency.

Through this initiative, we aspire to build sustainable partnerships that strengthen the national economy and support local communities, contributing to a holistic vision for the future development of the dairy sector in Egypt.”

It is noteworthy that Juhayna Food Industries was established in 1983 as an Egyptian company specializing in the production, processing, and packaging of a wide array of dairy products, juices, and cooking products. The company has successfully secured a leading position in the dairy and juice markets in Egypt and has expanded into international markets, exporting its products to 64 countries, including citrus exports.
